TFGC Raffle 2022 Terms & Conditions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “The Promoter” refers to Trees For Good Causes CIC whose Instagram handle is @treesforgoodcauses. The “Prize” refers to a selection of items donated by UK businesses, listed below. 

  • By entering the competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions
  • The online raffle runs from 1st November 2022 to 30th November 2022. Entries close Wednesday, 30th November at 23:59
  • To enter the raffle, you need to purchase a minimum of one raffle ticket via our website:  https://tfgc.org.uk/tfgc-raffle/
  • A maximum of 100 tickets per household are permitted
  • One ticket costs £5 and includes: one tree planted by TFGC, £2 donation to North Devon Hospice and five entries into the raffle
  • There will be one one winner per ticket with prize allocated in no particular order 
  • The current prizes are: B Corp celebration box; Fitbit Luxe; dryrobe of choice; Hestercombe gardens – Day’s family garden entry; Combe Martin Wildlife Entry for Two; Gallox £50 voucher to use in the shop; £25 M&S Voucher; A box of bath bombs; Usborn book bundle; A pair of Green Forest Social Socks; SouthWest Project long sleeve tee of choice; One ticket to Connection Through Cookery, Foraging and Fire- Cookery Day; Sustainable self care bundle; Pure Personal Training- 8 weeks PT online membership; Lavender Wheat Bag; Latitude 50 Landscapes Cream tea Collective tea towel; Thatchers Blood Orange 6x 500ml bottles+ bottle opener & a tote bag; Psychopomp Distilled Craft Gin; M&M Nails £25 Voucher (For Set of Gel Nails); BTS Hair & Beauty Voucher (For Cut & Blowdry)
  • The first winner will be selected at random on the 5th of November for a ticket to Connection Through Cookery, Foraging and Fire- Cookery Day to attend on the 11th of November.
  • The second draw will take place on the 3rd of December and all winners will be selected at random by The Promoter and will be notified via email on or soon after this date. 
  • The raffle is open only to residents of Great Britain (excluding Northern Ireland) 
  • Entrants must be over 18 years old on the date of their entry
  • Instagram or Facebook are not in any way affiliated or involved in the competition
  • The Promoter will not be held liable if the named prize becomes unavailable or cannot be fulfilled
  • The Promoter will not be held liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid
  • To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions, the competition or any Prize for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by a participant even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the participant and the promoter and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise
  • Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. Where a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the promoter reserves the right to substitute that prize for a prize of equal or higher value
  • The full name, address and email address  must be provided to The Promoter and this data will be used only to enable the fulfilment of the Prize
  • The winner’s name and social media username may be posted on the social media profiles of The Promotor after the winners have been selected.
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond The Promoter’s reasonable control, the promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice
  • The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into
