All of our trees will be planted with animal protection and supported with a bamboo cane to protect them from weather damage. This is done to maximise the survivability of our trees and increase the benefit to the environment.

This year we are supporting North Devon Hospice www.northdevonhospice.org.uk

There are many ways you can get involved in TFGC. Apart from donating, you can offer your skills and knowledge to help us grow the initiative. You can help plant trees, involve your local community, or simply spread the word about us!

We plant trees only in the planting season, which means we start in late November and continue planting them until early March. We still accept donations between March and November, but the trees won’t be planted until the tree planting season starts again to ensure trees have a better chance of survival.

We plant a mix of Oak, Holly, Bird Cherry, Hawthorn, Beech, Blackthorn, Alder, Mountain Ash, Hazel, Guelder Rose trees.

Of course! Donating a tree for someone’s birthday, wedding anniversary or perhaps as a ‘thank you’ it’s a more conscious way of gifting. Contact us, and we will provide you with a gift certificate, or if you prefer, we can send the message directly to your recipient.

There are many ways that businesses can get involved. For example, if you’re an employer- you can consider planting trees for your employees birthday!
You can also offer to plant a tree in return for a completed customer survey or as a way of saying ‘thank you’. Perhaps you want to offset some of the business carbon footprints or business trips done in a diesel vehicle or a plane. If you are looking for inspiration, please get in touch, and we can give you ideas that work for your business.
